Based on Sergey's work perhaps but highly recognizable still as a James W Cain piece by the thumbnail

A face like a crumpled bed sheet - wonderful effect.
The form planes of the face with the smaller rhythmic and weaving planes of the skin surface are most delicious.

May I ask good Sir how you are achieving such an effect in the rhythmic planes of the skin surface?
Myself I would build up the relief and transitions and dab down with a large hard polish to accentuate the planar changes.

Hey Boozy Thanks, I love these Dishonored concepts because its so nice to explore planes and forms within the sculpts. Apparently my girlfriend think this one is future grumpy me which I think is really unfair (but the eyebrows are pretty close) !

In terms of technique, i go from large to small forms using claybuildup, smooth and dam standard to build, smooth and pull out forms, this way I come up with a 'design' for the planes and rhythms . Then I use the clay brush, trim dynamic and dam standard to further smooth and explore. Hope that makes sense!

Eyebrows that will add the air of gravitas in your maturity are a blessing Sir.

Thanks for your reply on technique - with hammer saw and nails , one may build a rickety bird house or a fine mansion. All is in the touch and application - evidently you are blessed with both.

    Kind regards,
    Boozy
