Post HELP PLEASE - (Pix, Aurick or any system type people)

    ANY HELP IF POSSIBLE :

I was writing a tut for Upham this morning using Texturemaster. My screen locked and even Task manager didn`t work and it brought down the whole OS.(I`m on Windows 2000 BTW)

I rebooted and all seemed fine until I tried to fire up Photoshop. and I got this error:

    -------------------------------------------
The instruction at "0x77fc9906" refernced memory at "0x00000209". THe memory could not be written.

    ------------------------------------------

    and promptly failed.

    Since then I have tried..

    1. Removing Photoshop v5. (fully registered version) and reinstalling. Same error

    2. Removing the demo of v6 on my hard drive. Same error.

    3. Reinstalling on different hard drive. Same error

    4. De-fragging hard drive. Same error

I`m stuck now. Short of buying Photoshop 6 which I can`t afford right now I don`t know what else to do. I can re-install Win2000 but I had weeks of down time putting this baby together last time. (Although I found out recently that was mainly due to older NVidia drivers with my last Geforce 2 card. I`m now using an Nvidi GeForce 3 Ti 64 meg with new drivers which is COOLLLL!)

Any ideas or Sunday will be lost as a n Art Day!!!! I`m off to the Gym, I`ll check back in 2 hours my oh-so-reliable friends......
