    Thumbs up Hello everyone!! Zbrush, where have you been all my life!

    I wan't to say hello to all my fellow artists out there, both 2 and 3d!

    I'm a 3d/2d artist/animator, 37 and live in South Florida, 3 kids and a wonderful wife.

    ~~~
    I've just found out about Z-brush and barely downloaded and ran a few modeling scripts... I'm agape, totally astounded! Just to think that I've been hacking away at other modeling programs for SO long, dreaming of an application like Z-BRUSH!
    I've only just begun to explore it's possibilities but I'm certain I will replace that "other" program I'm currently using for Z-Brush!.. (and will quite possibly be changing my name to 'Z-Dude')
    To everyone here: "SHAME on you for keeping this wonderful program to your Z-selves!"
    To the developers: "SHAME on you for not advertising Z-more!"
    To everyone: I'm so farging' z-happy!!!!!!!
    I'm off to Z-explore!~~~~
    PS: as soon as I feel confident I'll post my first model... but I will hang around, if you guys will have me.
    Welcome to Happyland, MaxDude. Hmmm. I'm betting that other program is 3DS. Ah well, you belong to the Converted now, and all past sins are forgiven.
    lol
    In all seriousness, it is always a pleasure to say hi to new users. ZBrush Central is here to help you out in any way possible. You're certain to come up with tons of questions, and I recommend checking out the QuickLinks for answers -- they are accessible through a link at the top right of every ZBC page. There is also a search feature to help when the QuickLinks fail. Don't be shy about asking questions in the forum, either. Some of us don't sleep (ZEnergy is a powerful thing), and there is usually someone online who can help you out.
    And every now and then (actually, pretty frequently) we all learn something new together.
    Once again, welcome! Don't be shy about posting your work soon. Z-ya!
    Hi MaxDude!
    We were trying to hide this secret.
    My name is Kathy and I'm a ZBrush Addict. I've been an addict since February of '01.
    Welcome to the sandbox. You'll not find a forum like this anywhere else (I think it's part of the addiction). I'm looking forward to seeing your work!
    A Fellow Floridian.
    Thanks for the "welcomes" .. I hope to set myself free from work, long enough to hang around more that just for an occasional read.
    Cheers
    Welcome to the best forum on the net, the most helpful group you'll ever meet, and software that will cut new synapses faster than Bill Clinton could eat French Fries!
    Greetings from the planet Z. I'm fairly new to the forum but have had ZBrush for sometime. I've found the forum friendly and informative, although my teaching skills are poor, I hope that seeing how others cope with passing on info I might learn on that score.
    Welcome, MaxDude! I am a Zaddict and have been since April 2001. You are among friends and supporters here like you've NEVER seen before. Just look at the postings for the last couple months and you'll see ground-breaking, mind-boggling advancements in the software, mostly due to the amazing scripting being done by all these freaking genius-type people who frequent this place.
    Hang on tight. It's gonna be a helluva ride!
    I've noticed the programming by users and think that's great! The capability to run scripts is a leap forward into user applications of tomorrow, I applaud the developers of Z-Brush for not underestimating it's users.
    I do have some experience with ActionScript (Macromedia Flash) and find the scripts somewhat familiar. It's good to get into a program that has growth capability not entirely based on it's developers.
    POWER TO THE USER!
    Cheers Gang
