Default CTN animation eXpo 2014: Joseph Drust ZBrush 4R7 Demo

Here's an early holiday treat for you!

Last month Pixologic attended the 2014 CTN Animation eXpo in Burbank CA and we caught some of it on video. We'll be posting videos from the other artists that attended on our YouTube channel but as a special treat for ZBC members we want to share this here and help you get ideas going for when ZBrush 4R7 launches next month. In this demo, Pixologic artist Joseph Drust takes a closer look at some of what you can look forward to in the new ZBrush 4R7 features including:

    *ZModeler brush
    *ArrayMesh
    *NanoMesh
    *QMesh

    Enjoy!

Oh, here we go again--staring dry-eyed at the Inbox and counting the minutes. Pixologic, what you are doing with code has crossed into the realm of science fiction.

Thank you so much for posting this. I cant wait to get into this, the modeling brush seems awesome, especially the auto welding it does on some of the low poly functions. I can't believe how many hours I have used in the past welding points after boolean operations, and its a pain searching for unwelded points, so thank you. Thank you also for the update about January, I know it is worth the wait.

    Thanks for sharing that presentation!

I wonder if we can use the nanomesh to create tiling textures while randomizing rotation/scale/position? is that possible in ZBrush 4r7?
