3D model search engine

Hello all, we launched a 3D model search engine, which finds 3D models on the Internet with simple keyword search. The models can be previewed right on your browser without any plugins! (Chrome and Firefox recommended).

Here’s the link: http://www.yobi3d.com

We received some requests to add filter to the search results. It is now available on the website. On the search result screen, there’s a triangle next to the search box. Click on the button, you’ll see a list of filter you can choose from, e.g. file type, vertices, polygons count.

hi, it looks very nice,
but I have try and 2 times it shows me only free 3d objects.
Is it only for free ?
(I think about persons who sell their works, it would be cool to include them in the engine ? maybe I don’ t have luck and if I try again it will include free and non free objects ?)

thanks, may I know which object you searched? and which link were you redirected to?

character, human
nothing special, I was just curious to test it

and I think it is a great idea and it seems to work fine !

sure, thank you!

Thanks i have checked this.

We’ve added textures to the 3D models, please come back a take a look! http://www.yobi3d.com

Well 3D Filter is one 3D model search engine. Apart from this, many universities, like Princeton, maintain search engines for 3D models.
