how to quickly mask/select distinct polygons (eg: a particular side of a cube)?

Hi,
Is there a quick and accurate way to select/mask of polygons facing particular directions to work with or convert to polygroups (eg: the right or left side of a cube, or faces on an object that is facing up etc)

yeah, you’ll find options for this inside of the polygroup subpalette
