Bruno Câmara's Sketchbook

Hey what’s up guys!? I’m finally starting here at ZBC my Sketchbook. Let’s create more in less time!

This is my first piece to open it, did this guy to study skin and Keyshot. Hope you like it!

Here’s a little breakdown of the process:

Used ZRemesh for retopo and UVMaster for UV’s:

And then I could add fine details. I created one single thorn and started spreading them using Insert Brush.
The little rat was made from zspheres + dynamesh

And later stated texturing by polypainting it.

Hair was the last part:

The rat’s hair was the same parameters but much shorter and one single subtool.

All the subtools were decimated and exported as .obj to Keyshot and all polypaint exported as .PSD for textures!

Hope you like it

It’s all enormously impressive. What strikes me the most awesome though is how well you did the rat’s hair and the way you got that sub-surface scattering in the rat limbs and tail.

How did you get that SSS there?

Great work!

Great work matey!!! Love it and very nice breakdown

Nice work Bruno and thanks for the breakdown! Did you render passes from Keyshot, or is the final image one single render? Any recommendations for a simple clay render setup in Keyshot like you showed? Thanks!

John

Well done Bruno! Thanks for the good breakdown. (I should give it a try to a ZBrush to Keyshot workflow:)
In your case that workflow works pretty well! Thanks for sharing.
