how do I orient the camera view parallel to the normal of a polygon face?

Hi, I have just a quick question:
how do I orient the camera view to the normal of a face?
Let’s say that I draw an action line clicking on a face, this action line should be oriented to the normal of that face, so perpendicular to the face (like in fig 1).
At this point I would like to simply move my camera view perpendicular to that face. (like in figure 2).
Hope I managed to expalin myself.
Thank you.
Saba.

Just view rotate should do that. Rotate it to where you desire. What are you trying to do?

Hi Doug,
thanks for your reply. I was just wandering if there was a precise way to obtain that orientation, rather than going “manually”. My intention is to set some customized views
in Zapplink proprieties based on the normal of some specific faces of a model. Thanks.

I highly recommend the Axis plug. And see bottom statement on this page. http://docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/3d-modeling/posing-your-model/transpose/action-line/ You can also save views by using the timeline.

Thanks a lot, will definitely try axis plug.
