Default FINALIST: Twisted Horror (Dracula 1931) Team Edward!!!

    Hi everyone

so how would classic dracula react to twilight? I think he'd love it haha

heres progress so far, everything is created from within zbrush except the face which is an old base mesh of mine. it is partly retoped in zbrush though if that counts haha. Just trying to get the forms in before i do the clothing, probably gonna change quite a bit knowing me haha. its all super early still and the expression/likeness needs tons of work

And here's some timelapses (sorry if you dont like the music, just put it on mute haha)
for further explainations on the techniques, I've wrote a little blurb on each of the descriptions on vimeo

    the hand

    the torso

    posing

its about an hour a piece so far, so about 4 hours including the head, I forgot to record the face unfortunately it was pretty boring though haha

good luck everyone some amazing entries so far

    YES!

So happy you are getting in on this action. I like how Dracula looks like Dracula... just a bit younger. Super great anatomy and I love how he is reading the book with his junk out.
Such a great idea and as far as I am concerned THE strongest contender for 1st place to date.

Really inspiring arts as usual man, and of course I can't wait to see some more please..... soon

    thanks guys

heres where hes at at the moment, still gotta do his shoes, touch ups and then tweak the likeness some more. Might change his expression up aswell as its a bit stiff now. Final shot might be a close up so you can pickup on the book and what the badges say. Not got alot of free time so Im hoping I can still finish

Agreed, awesome work on that cloth! I like the minimal amount of color coming from those badges as well. Can't really spot anything to crit, I think the palms might be a tad thick maybe?
