Default 1st PLACE: Twisted Horror (Creature from the Black Lagoon): Lifeguard At Beach

Twisted Horror (Creature from the Black Lagoon)

This is my first time entry in any challenge online, Really Exicted!!!!.

So here my imagination This lagoon creature will be working as a"Lifeguard" at the Beach rescuing people. But this time he has rescued someone more than he can lift..Does he like his job??Is he kind or brave enough to put his life on line to rescue someone???.You will see what I mean as the thread goes on. Hopefully!!!

Very nice idea, would love to see some stereotypical white powder ( or sun cream ) on his nose

I have separated mesh into-Head,Arm,Hand and leg...So that I have enough poly for details. back to sculpt again...

First stage of sculpting is done...
Now I will be converting the dynamesh objects into zmeshed objects. Then project the details over it and move to next stage of sculpting which is adding skin scales etc...

    Here is the current progress.

I have zmeshed the character before going on to create more details. It will be far easy to pose the character with low poly using transpose tool than using a high poly mesh.
There are still few areas which requires details which I will be doing one I get to texturing.

Have been working non-stop for almost 2 days now....so here it is my next character of the scene...I thought It would be great to concentrate on the survivor/victim which the creature is holding...So here it is the Slim lady ....

I used the zpshere mesh which i created in the start. The sculpt is still under construction...Hair mesh is just a place holder....Will be replaced my fibermesh.

Its going to be a pain and very challenging to tweak the face and expression of the lagoon creature holding/saving the lady...........want to have comic and realistic look and feel on the whole...Am I aiming too much????
