Zbrush 4r6 - dynamesh

Hi,

I’ve been trying to get dynamesh working, but a globe with minor editing, sculpting on the globe without being able to pull or extend shapes is the furthest I’ve got. My second attempt, new document, I can’t get further than the attached screenshot. My brushes don’t seem to work, Edit mode is unclickable. I’d be grateful for a step by step instruction on how to properly get dynamesh working so I can start working.

Many thanks,

Kirai

The first button you press after drawing the sphere is the Edit button(shortcut t). Must do. Then you will be able to sculpt.

Thanks, for some reason the Edit button and the brushes don’t work sometimes though?

IF your mesh it´s a primitive

1.-Drag a sphere or something else
2.-You can go to initialize tab inside Tool for made some tweaks
3.-Then make a Polymesh 3D, at this instanse you can make sculpt
4.-Go to Geometry/Dymamesh ,Push dynamesh button
5.-Check the dynamesh button is in orange
6.-Push your polyframe button to see the amount of geometry
7.-If you need more resolution ,try with 500 or more

If you can´t click the edit button , try this:

1.-Ctrl+n to clear the screen
2.-Select the tool you are working on
3.-Drag your tool in the Doc
4.-Press the edit button
(*Dont change a material ,when the edit button it´s off, these action frezze the buttton)

Good lock And keep Sculpting
