    Default Alien Embryo

    Hi ZBrushers,

It's tough to post artwork on here - the level of skill on this forum is amazing. I am always blown away by the quality of what is produced and displayed here!

I thought I would post a Saturday's session. I've always wanted to make an Alien embryo model for casting. I wanted to generate one that was more human tissue in design rather than the Alien that you usually see.... I tried to make the embryo look like it had been removed from a specimen jar for study. The skin is covered in a glycerol preserving fluid.

Anyhow, I hope that you like my small contribution and I will upload the cast model when it is complete.

    Regards, Jet

    Default Printed

    Hi guys,

Just for the sake of interest - here is the raw print so far. This is straight from the ObJet printer. 20 hrs.

Next stage will be suspending the print in a bespoke specimen vessel that I am getting a glass company to produce... heh, the crazy things some of us do in our spare time...

Hope this helps someone get inspired.

    Regards, Jet

I agree. It was very late at night - or early depending on how you look at it.
The teeth are to be replaced with resin ones so these are just place-holders.
Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate your comments.

    Regards, Jet
