Goz human model with textures to zbrush and back to c4d ?

hey guys,
i have an axyz texture mapped model in c4d. want to clone it by making one of models more muscular. is has 4 texture maps applied in c4d. if i hit goz and do my push and pulls, then hit goz to come back to c4d. it comes back as a new model on top of my orginal with no textures and all UV info lost.

would it be better if i just open the obj in zbrush and save out a new normal map for the new muscular intended model ?

would love to hear about a good method to do this. any help greatly appreciated.
