    Hello,

    A longtime lurker I thought I'd finally start posting some of my own projects involving Zbrush.

    First off a dragon foetus I did for Gothenburg Film Festival. Modelled in Zbrush mostly, rendered in 3ds Max and Vray, finalized in Photoshop.

    Thank you all for the inspiration on these forums!

    Thomas

    Thank you!

    Another more recent project. Anaconda on engine for a truck company calendar. A cad engine was used as a dummy for posing the serpent. Later replaced with photographic engine in the final comp. Anaconda rendered in Vray/3ds Max.

    Many thanks for the kind words! Sorry for the double post. A result of the delayed initial review process of a first time poster. I cannot seem to remove that double post myself.

    Wow! Really amazing! I love to see how you did the treads in the yolk. They really add to the sense of reality!

    Nowhow: The yolk threads and the internal veins in the dragon were imported from 3ds Max where I used a beautiful little plugin by Guruware based on:

    http://graphics.uni-konstanz.de/~luft/ivy_generator/

    The latter is standalone and you should be able to import obj's into Zbrush. You can define various growth parameters and boundaries. Quite fun to watch it grow in realtime. Would love to see something like this implemented in Zbrush. Fiber v 2.0?

    Default ivy generator

    @Elden,

    Ah yes great! I haven't used 3ds max for a few years now but the ivy generator is also included in Blender. Great use of the plugin!
