    Post The Front Porch (edited)

I just finished with a new picture. I used the fiberbrush for hair for the first time. It was a little tougher to figure out than vegetation

After coming home today I realized I posted the unfinished image, oops. I touched up the eyes a bit for the finished image.

I feel that at any given time this old little runt can start moving about saying in a rusky voice "the Force will be with you...... yes! You will be. You will be...."

excuisite expression on his face, tag, is what I have to add to the praise pool.

I really like the idea of taking a modeled character and putting it into a scene like this. It really makes it come to life. Keep doing this

    Wow Tami, so well done

    So many nice touches!
The softness of focus everywhere except the center of his face is quite subtle and effective. Captivating eyes!

The wood grain underlying the paint!

The hazy hills with vegetation cresting!

The shirt, the shirt - very well modeled and tactile, nice collar. I'm trying to imagine how you applied the texture - how the texture correctly follows the down slope of the arms?

Finally the mood. I feel sadness and loneliness This picture could be found in the dictionary under Melancholy.

    Bravo

Hi Tag . . . Boy, that has got to be up there with some of the BEST ZBrush creations I've seen so far!!!

I'm more into realistic images than the sci-fi & horror type that go around here frequently, so I guess that's why I feel that way.

If I thought that you lived around me, I would say that you took a picture of me sitting on my porch earlier this summer & used it for a model. Heheheh

I'm really impressed with this image, everything about it is great!!! Keep on producing & posting more.

    Have a good one . . . Mark.

Tami that's just wonderful; I can almost hear a lawnmower running and birds chirping in the background. Nice work!
