NEW! ZBrush 4R5 Panel Loops Videos Part 1-5

With the release of ZBrush 4R5, we presented the Making Time for Art: Dragon Flyer video by Pixolator. In that video, we demonstrated our all new Panel Loops feature. Now, we’re pleased to offer you a new set of videos. Hosted by Michael Pavlovich, these videos are dedicated to expanding your knowledge of this powerful new tool set. We look forward to seeing how you’ll incorporate these new functions within your workflow.

About Michael Pavlovich

Michael Pavlovich has been in the game industry since graduating from the Ringling School of Art and Design in 2005. Starting as an environment artist, Michael has worked on several titles for multiple platforms, at both Electronic Arts and Sony Online Entertainment. Michael is currently Lead Character Artist at Certain Affinity in Austin, TX.

In addition to his “day job” he has also produced 5 video tutorials for Eat 3D.

Follow along with Michael as he takes you through the basics of generating Panel Loops, as well as a few tricks for manipulating individual panels.

Now I understand what’s going on in “Making Time for Art: Dragon Flyer”. It was to fast to see anything.
Thanks to the team and MP for this. There is a lot of potential in this.

Thank’s a lot Michael for those so precise and clear tips. This sound to be really usefull for design things that may require Nurbs kind of shapes. It could be really awesome, if Pixologic could import inside a subtool, or Create Bézier curve that can be tweaked like those in the 3 or 4 line cross, in order to prevent a good tangency.
