Default The Merman's got the ick!

Might be a late start but I started sketching on this the beggining of the month and really wanted to get this going. Probably ALOT to build for this but I want to give it a try. Here are some of my sketches, I am gonna start on the base...little Witchies home. Not sure about all the Characters, I will just see how many I can fit in there. Here we go!

Thanks manzarek123, yeah, the whole challenge of this to me is to try and capture the feel of my cartoon sketch in 3D. It's a challenge alright to myself. Love to see this 3D piece grown in the end! Thatd be cool

Update to the scenery, working on the leaves. Trying to create an insert brush with a leaf to build up some clumps of leaves, this is my first run at it. Along with alot of the details on the island.

Really like how the details are coming out! Still very cartoonish, the leaves and wood wrinckles are very nice.

Thanks AndreHolzmeister! Your monster turned out wonderful! I think we have similar tastes in the artwork we are doing

Update to the little witch and some props. The hanging thingy is just an idea I had for this Iron hanging pumpkin lantern...she will have a few hanging from the trees I thought, I like the way it turned out.

Default droppin in some basic colors and finishing up some details enough to finish

still wanna make some details and add some things but may have to just color for now, so i have enough time to finish it up.

THANKS Intervain, am3dartist and BKYap for the kind words! I would love to have more time on it, but will have to finish up and come back later.
