Added some detail to the hair and tried an alternate outfit. I think I prefer the unitard.

I hope you have time to finish this: it's very creative. I was arrested by the mysteriously calm candle-flame-head and the apparent humour of the restrained toddler monster.

The impact of the first image seems to be getting a little diluted by the inclusion of the third character and all the ZBrushy wrinkle detail. I look forward to seeing how you resolve the composition in the final image.

I'm hoping I'll be able to finish this as well - so that it looks like I'm imagining it. Unfortunately, every time I think about it the intial "concept" continues to grow and evolve. All the misfit monsters in my head are vying for inclusion.

The characters are great, I like this type of scenes where involves many characters, like if each one was telling something with their pose and expression.

i liked how the pumpkin was being held in the hands and i really like the flame face idea. Right now I am uncertain if his head is the pumpkin or if the flame is...i suppose it could be both . The jester seemed more sinister leaning against the tree with the scissors, where in the last render he is more of a prankster hiding behind it. Just the different feels i get from the scene. So far really liking the look of it all though.

Everyone I asked said that the pumpkin "head" made no sense, so I changed it.

that is awesome! I love what the jester is doing!

I think you can definitely push the pose of the slobbering dude a little more
like angle the chest a little more forward
or torque the body with the right arm reaching forward and the right arm back a little more to get a nice silhouette

if you don't want to put the candle where his head would be you can maybe do somethin like this?

Couldn't figure out how to set up the candle head so that it looked like an actual light source and it really killed the scene.
Not happy with the changes I had to make to compensate, but posting my "final" render for a sense of closure it nothing else.
