Default The Carver in the Shadows

Hey guys just saw the Halloween contest page go up today. As soon as I read that I went right to my sketch pad and came up with this rough sketch. Hopefully I have enough time to flesh this out. Feel free to provide any feedback of this concept. Hope to see some awesome entries popping up around here!

Here's the werewolf so far. Running at 45,000 polys at the moment. Still a little more fleshing out before I move up to the next sub level.

Great so far! Love the teeth and the overall shape of the fur on the head

Thanks! I'm glad you like it so far. I'm planning on studying up on using fiber mesh to really sell the portrayal of realistic fur, while still staying slightly stylized.

Starting to put the finishing details on this guy. After I sculpt the rest of the details I will move onto the pumpkin. If I have enough time after that I will try and study up on fibermesh so I can sell the realism of this beast a little more.

    Enjoy!

Very nice so far I love the stylized approach your taking.

I have always been a werewolf fan so I was automatically drawn to this piece.

Keep it up can't wait to see the final image.

    Thanks man!

Here is the final werewolf pics. I had a lot of fun making this guy. Will maybe do some fiber meshing to this guy once I have the rest of the scene fleshed out.

    Enjoy the update!

Threw him into a pose tonight and finished up the polypaint for the most part. Going to get some nice fiber mesh fur going on him soon. Enjoy!
