Working on another "Old Coot" caricature (WIP)
Same style I've done as 2D illustration for Leanin' Tree greeting cards since 1980
- minimizing detail for 3D prints -

Thinking this may be a candidate for a 3D print when finished

Currently working on a pirate among others destined for 3D print
Keeping level of detail appropriate for materials they will be printed with
Most are at my Shapeways Studio

A very funny faces! I rally like the monkey and cowboy with his face
I think you should spend a little more time on each of your sculpts thought.
Keep working man and thanks for visiting
Having a lot of fun with ZB. Latest in the bucket is "Rock-A-Billy"
He is roughly based on an illustration I did for a publication (art shown here)
Mainly doing these with intentions of 3D print... a few are color but mostly monochromatic.
I will try to install 4R5 after the holiday crazies.
While I understand ZB does not support Windows XP, I have been running 4R4 on XP and will try to see how 4R5 does
For Various reasons I'm not able to upgrade to a new OS for now and do all of the clean installs required. (Yes, all of my software is legal, just decades of upgrades and issues finding clean install discs)

Hi Nate doubtless you will have seen this wonderful video by polydrawer, aka ravenslayer2000video - but if not it'll be a great help.
This one video condenses so much with regard workflow procedure and reasoning very elegantly. It's a mini masterpiece.
Best wishes and enjoyed viewing your fun posts.

More recent ZB work - I aim for a rough-hewn feel and mostly for creating 3D prints (figurines)

Messin' around with a coffee cup concept... think a funny face on opposite side. Roughing it in (computer 3D: Rhino + ZBrush) may do a 3D print of this
Boosted part of a previous sculpt, reworking it with a different rougher look... like rough bronze feel
