Impressive studies. I really like how you captured Bruce Willis and managed to age him in a realistic way.

Ouran - Thank you, I have to admit that I didn't plan to age him, but went along with it after the first deep wrinkles...Glad you think he turned out well

Default Studies III: Characters & Creatures

    Hi guys,
After the heads and bodies, I want to try different things, while keeping up the fibermesh and BPR studies.
Here's a character concept, a Silent Philosopher, watching out for the approaching storm.

Your character is so real and you might instantly invent an entire novel to do so.
    Made technically brillant.
I love it, when a story behind it.

    Ciao,
    TM

Elegant clean work using fibermesh..you have divided them in polygroups ? Which brush in particular you have used? Amazing Matt !

Hey LVX, thanks, yes, I usually do 2 polygroups along the part, then I divide those halves into 3 or more polygroups.
This one in particular was totally standard process and fibermesh settings, but often I just use the move brush, with Mask by Polygroup.
The GroomBrushes are set to Intensity 20, and I switch between those. Long hair takes patience, but there was no secret with this one, I swear, just a lot of practice The Aniso was -10/50, which seems to give nice results in my renders.
