What's the different between a tablet and a mouse?

Sorry for this, iam a newbie :S but its not a joke:D
i mean what can i do with table what i can’t with the mouse?
? i wanna buy a tablet, but iam poor… really and can i do better work with tablet? sorry for this i hope so you are will be helpful and thanks!

An analogy that I love is that drawing with a tablet is like drawing with a pen/pencil. Drawing with a mouse is like drawing with a block of soap.

Tablets are typically pressure sensitive, giving you more control over the size/intensity of the strokes/brushes you are laying down/sculpting with.
It feels more natural.

Similar difference between a mouse and a pencil. You’ll get smoother more natural strokes with a tablet. If you’re tight on money the Wacom Bamboo is decent for its price. If you can I would recommend the Intuos medium. Tablets are good investments, they should outlast your computer hardware.

Thay got some small ones for $ 79.00

Staples might have some cheaper.
Don’t know if there presure sesative.

I personally have a very hard time with tablets that have a slick surface.

I don’t know if this helps but I have both Wacom and Addesso tablets. Addesso is very cheap and altho not as sensitive as a Wacom tablet, it is not so bad for the money.
