    some more step and details
I start model the head from a sphere in zb.after I get most of the feature. I did a retopology and make more small details on it. like pore wrinkle etc
wrinkel layer and pore layer in different . and some more feature nevus in face.
I didnt use any facial texture to get the pore stuff. I sculpted all detail out by hand.I believe that will help to achieve realistic face.

I made displacement map in zb . here are screenshots.

    great likeness there zboot
    thanks for your tutorial too..

about the hair..maybe you should try hairfarm/ ornatrix(blur studio used this) since it much better than default max hair n fur.
i also want to try those on my next project

Congratulations on Top Row! I know it takes a lot of perseverance to go from the rough form to the place where it is finished. It demands so much informative sculpting, comparing what you start with and tweaking it dozens, hundreds, even thousands of times. Your sculpt and render is inspirational. It is truly one of the best I have ever seen.
