    Default Mule Deer

I am still pretty slow with Sculptris and sat down yesterday with the intention of doing some speed sculpts. Ha! Somehow I couldn't tear myself away and now have this big fellow:

I'll be detailing him from this point and posing and adding more atypical points to his rack. I find antlers very challenging to sculpt digitally, they are a combination of roundness and angles. I don't have them quite right just yet.....

I'm feelin' the antler pain for you, my friend. I am currently working on a moose for a client but i have to build it in sculpted prims so i cannot import it into sculptris or zbrush and they are much more intuitive then blender even with the bmesh.

Anyway, I love the young buck you have rendered and I think you have done an outstanding job on the antlers. I like the texture, reminds me a bit like butternut.

racehorse, he looks really good, are you going to add the body?
he looks so good i think you should do the body too.

Maybe do a pose of him over looking a cliff/ridgeline and looking with his head in the air,
looking all buff. strong shoulders etc.

your name fits you do good horses..

Thanks a lot! I might do a whole body, I like your pose idea I'm going to make the antlers all crazy, too. One of my fav things about digital sculpture are all the versions of a piece I can save, that right there is an amazing time saver!
