Man... this is insanely cool... do you actually have a life apart from working on this awesome piece ? You keep posting and posting and blowing my mind each time... can't wait to see the finished piece.
I've known Thompson's art for quite some time... and the baron is one of my favorite characters.... It's nice to see it come to life through such skilled hands.

I like where you're going with this model but I have some critiques for you thatll hopefully help.
I see that you are getting the stamping down getting nice detail into your armor with the etching. My one problem with it especially on the chest is that I feel its way too small. When you are zoomed out looking at the character it just looks like noise. I understand you want detail and thats great! I would just try and make the "etching" parts a bit larger so you can make out the designs better when you are far away from the character.
Turned out fantastic Man! a truly beautiful piece of art! I'm dying to see the underlying topology of such a sculpt heheh, has been been re-topologized? or is that pure concepting on a mish mash mesh?
