    Yup the humans were shot in the studio and postprocessed

    We used zbrush for the Characters, 3dmax for the interior and Photoshop for post work.

    Haha, when I scrolled down and realized that the background plate was all CG, I actually said "ho--lee--shiit" out loud, just like that with the spaces between each syllable. Wonderful work!

    Those are some cool character designs. I particularly like the second one with the trucker hat. The surface details are sharp and add a lot of realism to the models, and the back lighting works nicely here. Great render.
