    Default Spork's WIPs 2

Been around here for a little while. Though only in the Sculptris area of the forum. I've been constantly amazed for years now at what you guys have been able to squeeze out of the program. Now that I've had a chance to work with ZBrush, I thought I'd try to post some of my experiments in learning the program here.

This is the 3rd sculpt that I'm currently working on in ZBrush. More left to do, but I'm still trying to get used to the tools, the over all placement of things, and the controls. Been fun figuring it out so far, but I know I've got a whole lot left to learn.

For a moment, I thought I was in the wrong forum.
    Welcome Spork.
A humble start, still your serious sculpting skills.
ZB doesn't suffer from the limits of sculptris.
My suggestion is to start merging primitives and sculpting on them. Booleans here.

Thanks michalis. Thought I'd move over to the dark side for a bit. I still love the speed of Sculptris, but that could just come down to the fact that I've spent a lot more time with it.

I do have one question that I just thought of. I'm sure that I could find it if I searched as every question I've had google has been quite helpful. But, when working with masks, is there a way (similar to Sculptris) where I can paint on the mask with a lower opacity.

And a new doodle for today. Looks a lot better without the paint, but I thought I'd add it in there anyway.

Just an edit. Just watched part of a tutorial and I started playing around with LightCap on the second sculpt that I had made in ZBrush (just before that first post). I don' think I replicated what he did all that well, but I think I can get the hang of it before long. Sorry about making those eyes too red, I was still playing around with the paint mode at the time.

Started working on a model of Rocksteady from TMNT yesterday so I could learn that extraction for clothes. Kind of forgot about him, so when I took a break today, I started on a quick head for fun.
