Default Horspion: Next step: The head

Hey guys! I'm happy with the forms of the body, I think that the next steps are: the head and feet!

Here are a few WIPs of my horspion

Do you guys see any problems in my creature?

    Thanks for looking

I was going to say to consider losing the new legs but it looks like you are going to do that. I noticed something else. Take a critical look at your tail and then go have a gander at some scorpions. I thing your Horspion might tip over from the weight of the tail so you might consider streamlining it a bit but look at some reference pics of some scorpions first.

OH--great description of your creature. Keep up the good work!

Thank you! I'll go look for some scorpion reference to fix the tail and I'll put a new screenshot as soon as the tail is fixed!

Thanks again jayd, Your comments help me so much!

Here's the story about this creature:

Sharcrodiles are prehistoric fish, they are carnivore, they live in the ocean, they are loners, they are about the size of today's big sharks, their predators are: megalodons (a prehistoric giant shark that really existed), spermwhale (the name is kinda strange but it's a prehistoric whale about the size of a megalodon that eats smaller sharks) and other big carnivore fishes, to attack or defend themselves they use their powerful jaw and razor teeth! They are also really fast!

Please tell me if you see anything not plausible!

    Thanks

Cool I think the eyes pop out too much and the bottom side is bit flat. Bot Shark and Crock are diffrend in the stomach etc than your sculpt.
    Keep working

    Default Prehistoric amphibian

Hey guys I finished my prehistoric amphibian! (sharcrodile!)

I made a render in 3dsmax using Vray and did some post work in PS

*I'm not proud of how the water/BG turned out And my zdepth wasn't working (It was always white even if I changed the min and max) so I had to paint it :S

    Thanks for looking!

Hey guys! For my next character I was thinking about adding some fur, But I was wondering: Is there any way to export a texture map for the fibers? What I mean is: If I paint on my fibers and bring them in 3dsmax is there any way I can keep the colors or is it impossible?

    Thanks!

Hey guys! I made a huge render for a print in 3ds max Vray (took 70 hours and it crashed right after so I lost all my render passes... F*ck yeah.. -_-) Anyway, Here it is! (The low-res version)

Oh and as you can see I recreated Skopio but now I know anatomy a bit more! Haha

    I hpe you like it!

    Default Hexapod bat

Hey guys! I created an hexapod bat ! (4 arms 2 legs)

the render was done in 3dsmax Vray!

PS: he doesn't have 4 nostrils, he has 2 nostrils and 2 "heat pits". Heat pits are used by some snakes (like the pit viper) they are holes that can "see" heat! since this creature doesn't have eyes, he uses heat vision and echolocation to "see" !
