    Default The Performer

Hi guys, this is my first post, but I've been a very long time admirer of the amazing talent that surrounds this place.
The image was rendered in Keyshot with a small amount a post in Photoshop.

    I hope you like

A beautiful sculpture. Great anatomy. The detail in the cloth and shoes is awesome.

    Well done.

Wow, no kidding, the detailing on the shoes look amazing! The pose is really cool as well! Great job man.

In my opinion though, the camera angle is really off-putting. I also think the material could be a little better. Right now it looks a little, chalk-y? I dunno. These are just nitpicks though, awesome stuff overall

    This is completely awesome man!
One thing that catches my attention though is the fold in his stomach where it "overlaps" the rib cage, not too sure about that. Did you use any reference to support it?

Thanks for the kind comments guys and the great crits. As a result I decided to go back and create a cleaner, simpler render with a better material.

    Love the clay feel!
    Is the matcap "home made"

Real nice model! But the render looks strange, there is perspective but it looks flat and out of proportions. Maybe it's me with tired eyes.

Thanks so much for the very kind comments

Santis: I'm afraid this isn't a matcap material as it was rendered in Keyshot, but if you ever need the shader for Keyshot then I'd be more than happy to send it to you.

Monstermaker: thanks so much, your work is so inspirational.

Bas Mazur: i'm not quite sure what you mean? I can't personally see the issue myself, but that's most likely my lack of observational skill perhaps.
