Hey there What 3D program are you using to render the character with the normal map? If its 3dsmax you might need to change the swizzle to X+Y-Z+ or X-Y-Z+ ( I dont remember which one it was, because I havent baked normal maps in a while...=/). Also you might need to remove the smoothing group. I hope this helps.

    Nope, already tried this.
Thanks, but solution was found. This bug was caused by changing default gamma in 3d max to 2,2.
I work with 2,2 gamma with my architectural visualizations. Now everything's perfect.
Guys, I'm having second Christmas today, that was a serious obstacle on my way to gamedev.
    Updates coming soon. )

Added some details to my military chick and significantly changed her face.
Also started modeling smg in 3d max.
And though the problem with normal map was solved, I baked some maps and started to paint the texture.
Here's what it looks like for the moment.

the model looks great but the helmet doesnt quite fit on the head on the side of the helmet there is a place where the headphones fit and thats ware the ear is soposed to fit in but i really like your anatomy you seem pretty skilled in 3dsmax i like the smg you made
but you shouldnt have pinched the lips..unless you was trying to make it look cartoon
Real life details are just the beginning

    Hey everyone!
Just came back after several months vacation in Bali.
Unfortunately I didn't have chance to sculpt, so it seems like I've forgotten how to.
After spending some time on remembering how thing works I'll proceed to my wips.
That's what I've made today. Da Ork boy from WH40K speed sculpt.
