Default Ninja Turtles 2012 / Omnimorphic sketchbook

Long time since i've posted. Got a lot of negative feedback on my last Ninja turtle, and looking back, I can see why. Truthfully, I relied far to much on photoshop.
I'll be posting anything and everything in this thread from now on - all feedback is welcome!
Anyway, This is a wip -the belt is a temp, and the knee and elbowpads need work.

    I tried a little Krang/Utrom for fun -

I like the style you've gone for with the Turtle, but the skin is far to flat and too smooth

Yeah really cool work on that Krang Brain Monster, really nice idea of making a monster like that
The ninja turtle looks to me a little to real, not very cartoony but I'd bet you'll figure something out man!
Definently keep it going and have fun sculpting!

    Ha ha, nice!
    A fellow chucker, ey

I like the mirage variant the best, but it's an interesting take.
    Keep it up!

Having sculpted both now, I can say that the mirage design was much easier to put together than my original- but I'm pretty happy with both. When it comes
to the Ninja turtles, it seems the camps are very divided on design. My last attempt got a ton of hate. Bay will have a very tough time pleasing anyone with the new film.

Eerruugh..... Krang's tail looks like that creature's tongue from "Enemy Mine", that thing gave me nightmares as a kid! Creepy! So of course, I love it.

Sparky3d - I rushed the paint on, but i'll be revisiting the legs and feet, adding fine skin details and scales

KC - Production - I've posted a cartoon version just for you! :P Thanks!

Ryyka - Thanks! I wanted Krang to feel more repulsive - glad you loved it! My refernce was actually Cain's brain from Robocop2, in the glass tank...

    Default Bebop & Rocksteady

Looks as though the turtle has become too big for my computer/graphics card to handle
While i try and figure out how to solve that issue -some quick sculpts of bebop and rocksteady -
    Started both this morning...
Here's what i've got so far...

    Thanks for looking!
