    Default Giri's Digital Sketchbook

    Hello Ppl,

I've been Planning to start a new sketchbook thread on here and I finally have some new stuff to show.
. And like everyone, I would like to improve my skills.... And Would love to get some feedback from more skilled eyes around.
I've been using Maya for my Base Mesh Creation and Z brush for sculpting Details...I am using my spare times and weekends for Doing the personal stuffs like this..
but mostly,I don't get as much z-time as I would like to....and hence , most of them you will see as wip....But maybe someday,i could finish them all, considering your valuable feed backs...

Okay, here is some of the stuff I've done so far.

    C&C are very welcome.

I dont know who he is, but i think, seeing your reference images, that you get a great likeness!

i recommend you check the eye shape and the pupil size, i think you did the pupils bigger than the eye, if you look close you realize that you put the eye´s center under the upper eyelid, but in the reference images is exactly between both eyelids and the lower side of the pupil is touching the lower eyelid, wich means that your pupil must to be more little..

And the sides of the hair near to the face need more work, looks like he has curly hair only in the sides.

    Good work!
Sorry if my english is no bueno

    Nice work,

    Ajay Devgan looks cool.

    Make him Like Singham getup

And he is now a bit old but in the sculpt he looks young.
So need to make him some aged guy.

    Well good work so far.

    Hi there,

You got some great portrait work on here. I like the top image of the male actor. I'm assuming hes an actor.

About your "Great Warrior". The thing that hit me first was the legs. They seem too straight. Legs always have some kind of bowing in them. That's because, the femur bone comes inward at an angle then the tibia goes pretty much straight down from there. So on your "great warrior" do a soft masking of the upper leg. Then invert the mask and with the rotate tool rotate the upper leg in a bit from the hip down.
I hope I didn't just confuse the hell out of you because, I confused myself just now haha

Looking great though, as I said I really like your portrait sculpts. I think your nailing the personalities.

    best,
    Ryan

    Thanks to you too...
