    Default Stuff I'm doing.

I started a thread for my Gideon Character but i think i'm just going to make a general thread for stuff i'm doing. So here's renders from Gideon just so they're all in one thread. And then adding a new character i'm working on.

there are some symmetry issues with the legs, but ill fix that later.

PS. I have a question... Instead of these Thumbnails that you click on to make the image bigger. In some of these other threads, how do you just have the image at full size in the post? Is there a code i have to put in or a setting somewhere?

The hand is from the Gideon Model. Could be defined a bit more but i figured who would be that close to it. The kid was just for fun.

Yeah, I was having trouble with that. Seems that unlike other forums, you want to upload the images rather than linking them.

Really liking the art! Especially the texture for the evil Natalie Portman.

Just a update on the character. Still a ways to go. Pretend that red hair illustration is Fire. lol. I'll have to figure out a cool fire particles later in 3DMax.

Just an update. filling out most of the detail, and adding textures now.

The more i look at this, the more i think how ridculously stupid this looks. lol. I'm gonna punch myself in the face now... Must get better at all the things!

Wish Zbrush would work with 3DSMax to make it so shaders/materials can transfer over as well... Gahh, its like i was sitting in a introduction to russian language class trying to figure out materials in max... completely forgot how the particles systems work in Max also. Spent the past 2 years working in Unity and particles in that program are a easy breezy beautiful colorgirl... But max...? ARHG!!! (so i cheated and used photochop.... lulls.)

Doesn't sound like cheating to me. One does what one must. But I feel ya bout forgetting things like that. In the end, the means are justified when the end product looks good.

so you were trying to use particles for the hair? i wonder what it would be like trying to sculpt it mmmm.. given me an idea.. Ha ..

i agree that using photoshop shouldnt be classified as "cheating" its just another tool to get that desired effect etc...
