Mature Audiences First material blending/ fibre mesh test

Hello all,I was looking through the gallery earlier and something that monstermaker mentioned regarding blending his materials for his recent wolf image made me fire up ZBrush straight away and see how this is done. All I can say is cheers monstermaker for introducing me to this as I didn't have a clue you could do this with ZBrush. Wow, Pixologic. Just, WOW!!! lol.It seems that every time I open up the latest release I am finding new things to play with, inlcuding the new fibremesh options which I have used here for the first time.Cheers for having a look. Have a great weekend.

Glad I could turn you on to something. Did you watch the video on it in the ZClassroom?
It's fun playing with all of the new stuff isn't?

Moga: Cheers mate. I'm not sure how many materials you can blend together. I don't see why you shouldn't be able to blend more than two materials. I'll have to try that out some time.

I basically looked in the ZBrush documents pages for help. The 'materials blend radius' options are what I came across (I am sure there is probably more to it than this to perfect the look). You can find the page I read here:

monstermaker: Fun is too small a word to describe it! I just wish I had more time to play with the features. I'm currently busy working on my final year CGI course major project and the deadline is looming. I couldn't find any videos in the ZClassroom for material blending, it looks like the ZClassroom has changed a lot since I last looked at it. My workflow for finding out how things work usually begins with me hitting every button in ZBrush, drinking too much coffee and seeing what happens lol. Cheers again for opening up the idea of blending materials.

Kenny: Cheers for the kind words Kenny, I really appreciate it.

monstermaker: It's the day that hot beverage turns into gin that I dread. Working on this University project, I don't think that day is too far away lol.
