    hmm it turns out
    Armand Burger
that it is againts the forum rules to post an image with something written on it with the purpose of attracting views,
sorry for that, however I did it with the intention to get some anatomy critics from the pros, which i believe will surely help me enhance my knowledge, i sincerely
dont know anyone in person that may give me some tips and advices so my only form of real interaction with zbrushers that know their business is through here (hence my
attempts to get some critics since i have so few)

    ANYWAYS,
this is where i got with it today, i will apply fibermesh in his leg's and pelvic's protectors, his boots and gauntlets, and on his head

critics are very welcome, hope you guys enjoy

    I still need to add:
    1 sword (50% done)
    1 dagger
    1 sword sheat
    1 rock underneath him
    ->> 1 dragon tail surrounding him D

i am considering makin smoke come out of his nose instead of his mouth (i would have to open the mouth, and for that retopology would be the option, me no like!)

well, critics as usuall are pretty welcome, just before anything i would like to add that his armor is not very protective on purpose, i guess his dragonborn arms are as strong as steel.

    CYA!

so yeah, the modelling is over, so i applied a quick color to show you guys all the different subtools
(i really liked creating the feather and tynding it up to a strand of hair )

here i made a video showing a timelapse of me adding detail to the retopologized head and texturing it

    soooo what is missing:

so ladies and gentlemen, i present you.... The Dragonborn!

here is a high definition version ->> http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/5076/02ice.jpg

    i hope you guys enjoy!

    softwares used: Zbrush and Photoshop

PS: i have spent the last 5 days trying to make this scene work in 3dmax and vray, i have learned a lot about normal maps, displacement maps and all the configurations to render it at a high quality.
But it frustrated me so much, SO MUCH, with all the ram it was taking, all the crashes, all the issues with my AUV normal maps (=P), all those setups and configurations, well, it made me allergic to that whole anti-artist/intuitive workflow.
Therefore, i decided to render it in ZBRUSH and man, it is sooo easy! AHAHAHAHA
    (yes! god bless you pixologic!)

PS2: by the way... thanks Bethesda Softworks for the inspiration

PS3: i just edited his eyes, you can see in this close up of the face (due to a little glow, his sight looked crossed, i fixed that)

    cya!
