The last one looks really interesting, I particularly like the tentacle/dreadlock thing you go going. Keep at it.

    Thumbs up

    hey mate,
i would say its a great start. i like the shoulder pads and arm guards and nice work on the handle of the sword. overall i think tho the design need a bit of rethinking. if he s to be a swordsman wielding two swords i suppose he d be rather agile however right now his armor says otherwise.
especially on the feet and the pointy bit on the shoulder plates.also i feel the design lacks a bit of research on samurais there is defently a lot more you could do detail wise. at this point i would take a step back look at the overall design and try to figure out his armor in context to what he does a bit more,
so to say improove its funtionality.
also pay attention to you hands though. at the moment they seem a very small and b very basic like what you get from zspheres without any tweaking.
anyway i think you have a nice sketchbook going on here and my advice and i am by no means a professional would be to take it a bit slower and spend a bit more time on your steps in your workflow.

    keep at it,
    all the best Moritz

Meppel91 thanks for the comment man ... i am just following the concept isn't my design, I did think the same thing but hey man people have certain reason for making stuff a certain way ... my goal is adding to it detail wise, the concept is great but doesnt really show too much detail... so my goal is to up it lol

im almost done with the first detail pass let me know what you all think

hey bro good progress i can defently see it coming together quite nicely.
maybe wanna consider reshaping the feet a bit more before retopo the shape is pretty simple at much like a tapered cylinder still and the shape of the foot is a bit off aswell. like the bottom is kinda rounded which doesnt make sense and i still rexommend reworking those fingers.
last suggestion and this is a critical one i would pay a bit more attention to your folds. they just dont seem very natural. have a look a different folds resulting from different causes. very much noticable at the feet and the hands. also try to make it a bit assymetrical.
besides that im happy to see this coming together rather nicely .Hope you can take some of the critiques on board this time. would have been nice to see you consider some of the feedback from before. none the less good to see that you are having fun with this.
    happy sculpting.

yea the feet im gunna fix , give them a lil more shape... the hands on the base mesh were normal size the glove i made is a lil bulky making the fingers look small ... but i will probably end up fixing them cuz i see what you mean about that... im taking it step by step right now one thing at a time but it will get there eventually lol .... thanks again for posting the crits do give me things to think about and change !!!

looks very cool -my only criit would be if you were to rotate his shoulder out to the side 90 degrees - it looks as though he's cut his own head off with the shoulder garb -
Cool idea -maybe not so practical.
