    Default Character Sculpt

This is one of my first character sculpts. I would like to get some feedback. I would really appreciate it. Its the only way I can improve. Its still a work in progress.

Ver cool design J 3D, it reminds me of something the Guyver would fight. Keep up the good work.

Hi there, I really like this. The detail you have achieved is nice and you've done well with the anatomy. The only crit I have is that I think he would benifit from a material type that has a slight specular to it
so the details 'pop' even more. I think it would make him look more lizard-like too. Look forward to seeing more of your work!

Thanks for the critiques. I definitely plan on adding some spec to it once I get the color done right. I really appreciate the critiques.

I'm not quite sure what kind of character you're going for, but if he's supposed to be an evil character I'd darken up his color scheme, atleast on the back. Maybe observe how an alligator's color scheme works dark on the top and this lighter color that you have on the softer parts of his hide. Also the fleshy parts on his mouth and the inside of his mouth look really pink to me, on most reptiles that saturation is dropped down quite a bit. Anyways, hope this atleast gets you thinking about it even if you disagree!

I agree. Darkening him would make him appear more evil. Thanks.
