    If it was saved as .sc1 (Sculptris) and not .obj .... You're SOL ...... An object can be edited in most other 3D Apps ... but .sc1 is Sculptris only ....

    The too many triangle issue is easy to understand .... this is a problem that's common with auto-remesh and auto-decimate programs ... while calculating the normals it gets confused and you end up with an extra triangle. It's easy to fix in Blender, just delete the extra vertices and edges. The problem is .... FInding it in a 130K plut tris mesh !!!!!!!
    If you have it saved in .obj , upload it to mediafire or depositfiles and link it here .... I'll try and work it out ...

    Ah! Now i know... Thanks Justadeletedguy. It was saved as an sc1, but the loss is not too bad. It was only a few hours of work after combining them, but it's probably worth the info you provided in the long run. Lesson learned!
