    Default Tekneek's sketchdumps

Thought I might join in here by opening a sketchbook.

This is a sculpture done just for fun for the speed sculpting challenge at 3D Total.

    I welcome any criticism

    Thanks dude.

Here's a quick study of a skeleton, while waiting impatiently for R3.

In celebration of Pixologic's unnanounced R4 update, I'll post a taste of something I've been working on between work and procrastination, which I deem worthy of putting onto this forum.

    A gauntlet.

    Bleh.

Been spending time today making some Alphas, since the whole "random Squiggly Lines" approach is a helluvalot reduntant, and not giving the visual 'pow' this character deserves.

So, Hereīs a test (I know I have to fix the 0 position of them, but I'm too lazy to do it now).

I have more alphas to do though

    Holy moly!

Now, I'm pretty much happy with this guy.

I would like to add more stuff to him but, enough is enough (115.000 mill polies, by ZBrush's count)

    Thank you, boeserWolf.

I cheated a lot on the ornaments, and I've actually been cheating a lot with almost every aspect of this dude.

But, itīs all for good fun.

Hereīs a bit of an update, showing textures and materials I'll be having on the guy (VRay render).

I expect I'll be able to finish him over the weekend.
