Hello dear fellow ZBrushers
Glad to be back, had a surgery two weeks ago and had to take a little time off.
I though I just post this one, even though it is not my creations but had learned a lot from it!
I started on Friday a tutorial from Eat3D called Character Production in ZBrush 4, a friend of mine just got the DVD via post and we decided to make that character. I really learned a lot from "Michael Pavlovich(http://www.halfchunk.com/blog/)" it, this still is a speed sculpt, wanted to learn from his workflows. Mr Pavlovich really is great instructor aswell, really cool dude. I would recommened you to buy this tutorial, really good productions workflows and he is fast like hell^^
Body was made with zspheres, took it to dynamesh sculpted on there my prototype, quick retopo over the model(well that took the longest^^) and than the final production sculpt. I still could have done a lot more on his shirts and accessories, but I didn't want to uv the mesh because I rather do the fun part - SCULPTING![]()
Still having a lot of problems with rendern and compositing, didn't spend much time on the cloth sculpt and texturing overall. Really that tutorial was just to look at his workflows and not to exactly copy his guy.
All the best and happy sculpting,
- Kenny

Hi Kenny,
Glad you are back and on the mend! Thanks for the heads up on this Eat 3D Tutorial! I posted elsewhere on ZB Central with no response, so it is good to know that you obviously liked it a lot! I am leaving for Tanzania in nine days and will be back early April. I plan to get a copy and see if can learn from it. It seems that 2.5D and what I do with it is not the norm here (not that I will stop doing it) !Anyhow all the best to you my friend and be well! Cheers, David

Here is my second attend doing a dinosaur. My reference was a velociraptor, but somehow he has the head of a bird kind of creature - just call it a hybrid raptor
Did this in college when we had a really cool zbrush mentor and we all had the task to sculpt a dinosaur. here is one interpretation :-)
Comments and critics are more than welcome.
