    Default Captain America movie

Here is some licensing art that I did last year for the Captain America movie. Everything was modeled and textured using zbrush, with rendering done in 3ds max.
There was a lot of post work done in photoshop, because I had to match the look that the art director wanted.

Fantastic work! I especially love the fact that you used the "old school" shield for the one pose. Just awesome!

Great work man, really love the Red Skull! May I ask what your job title is? I love the fact that all of the modeling was done in Zbrush, and to do that for big companies as a job would be amazing.

Wow, thanks for all the great responses! I really appreciate it.

voodoodad- the old school shield is awesome! When I got the concept painting for USO Cap I was really excited, that was a really fun piece to work on.

polaroid29- The Red skull was one of my favorites, I'm really happy with how that one turned out. But, I don't have a specific job title. I'm just a freelance artist, I work for a lot of different companies.

Dman3d- Thanks! These had to match the same clean painted style that they used for the Iron Man and Thor licensing art.

O/MI- Your work is a real inspiration! I'll be posting more of these Captain America images soon. If you want to see more of my work here's a link to my gallery: http://jprart.deviantart.com/gallery/

SolidSnakexxx- Thank you! I'm a big fan of your work. Your character work is always fantastic, and the Lady of Naga process was incredibly impressive.

Great work. I think I saw the foreshortened Cap on a toy package my son got last summer....or a birthday present bag. Very nice. Would love to see the raw models.

Thanks again for all the amazing comments!!!

jmenna- Thanks! The Toy packaging art was the first Cap illustration that I did. It was actually just a sample piece that I did when I was trying out for the job.
I created the model over a weekend, and now its on everything!

I'll see if I can post some of the precess stuff, but in the meantime here are a few more of the character images.

Wow. Can we see a flat (no color) render?
You did everything in Zbrush? Even the shield?
