    Default Well deserved

Peter its great to see you've hit the top row. I don't think anyone can imagine the amount of creatures you've created and had published, as its probably somewhere in the many hundreds. Well done for displaying a different area of work to that of what may usually be found on here, and for inspiring others who may be interested in informative illustration. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing what you work on next.

I let go of the rope once, but now, I am climbing like a monkey.

Great stuff Peter, always great to work with an art director with an appreciation of craft - be that digital or traditional.
Bravo and congrats on the top row.

Thanks so much for such kind and generous comments. The reaction to the whole Top row thing has been really cool.

Some more of the T Rex tests.... Sorry traditionalists but its looking more and more like the evidence is stacking up in favour of plumage on a lot of therapods...though im still struggling to get a client to accept how fluffy these guys could have been...

    Hi Zbrushers,

Just sharing some WIP on a new project. I will be passing this over to a rigger who who "do his thing" then pass it on to a 3DS Max user for some animation tests. The hair is there just so I had something to look at while sculpting.

I also produced the attached timelapse of my proscess...Just thought it may be of interest.

One more from the book. African elephants sculpted in Zbrush. Rendered by the very talented Adam Benton in Cinema C4

    Hi Zbrushers

Im finally allowed to share some recent work. Just finished up sculpting another 50 plus caricatures for ITV televisions series 2 of Newzoids in the UK.

Crazy schedule where I ended up sculpting 1 character per day towards the end.

I was fortunate enough to have been working with a really good sketch artist called Mike Giblin who delivered some really superb sketched views.

All of the designs were firstly sculpted in Zbrush. Two versions were needed...one with the mouth and another blank so that the CGI team could add a digital mouth. The files were then decimated and sent for 3D print.

    Thanks

    Pete
