    Default Winged Victory - WIP

    Hi guys, I just wand post my latest work wip shot that I've done so far.
    still have to do little more detail like stone texture or someting.
    comments and critiques are more then welcome!!

    everything have done in Zbrush, rendred in mental ray

    A single mesh could work better in this case.

    Humm I don't think it's "One of the best drapery studies around." But it sure is really really good. Some of the edge quality feels a bit too ripply and bumpy. Now if that's done on purpose then I think it could look a bit more like chiseled rock. Still really great job!

    michalis : Thanks !! that's really nice complement!! I make separate mesh because I also wanna study of female body.


    Mrguy : well, Thanks to your complement. it's still working on wrinkle, but I've looked a lot of reference, and tried as it looks like =)
    I don't know why but in zbrush, wrinkles are look fine but when I renderd in maya, all the details are gone


    it's only my second sculpture!! cheer me up

    took long long time to make it (specially retopology)

    very nice piece! if i can give u a hint i would work a bit on the border of the mantle: if u look near the shoulder area it looks mono dimensional and detached from the rest of the sculpture...keep it up!

    very cool piece, love to see other renders of it, I have seen it in person in Paris....nicely done

    is this a dynamesh creation or started from zspheres?

    AndreaTheSigner : yeah, you're right!! I'll fix it =) thanks!

    d100763 : thank you, it's from zsphere, whitch I never tried before, so started it,,, it's was not easy for me.. could be better start from maya base mesh. retopo tooks hell a lot of time (and a lot of mistake)
