I finished an old project while playing with zbrush 4R2, thought I will share it here.

nice model!, also i really like the shader the wax skin shader, can you tell us a little bit more about this shader?
i’m missing his tattoos also, i don’t recognise his weapon is it from a new samsho? did you try a bigger head?

Basicly my render is a screen grab of my Zbrush preview.
I am not quit familliar with the BPR renderer yet. If any of you have a good set up for make nice BPR render I take it !

Cyberjoke, you damn right, I will add the tatoos! but I want make them less retro, I dont know yet , I will design new tatoos more 2011 like with the samourai spirit :slight_smile:
SketchZombie, Yeap its one of my favorite character in term of design, game play is another story, its a difficult character to handle ! I go usually for the classic Haomaru.
julien3d, I know the real weapon is missing but I felt like he need some more heavy weapon to help him generating earthquakes. in the first concept he had a temple roof on his right shoulder.

Thank you all for your comment and feedback, I really appreciate, I kept on working on the large man.
Here is the last update with a couple of tweak on the textures.
I also play around with the light cap.

I wish consoles had the power to render a realtime image like this 30fps. Samurai showdown XXX, they should hire you.

Yeah me too I like a lot Basara, another amazing character,
It can be awesome to remake him as well but I am on another project more sexy.

About Earthquake I just did some minor tweak on shading,
It’s like in any good video game, the longer is not the creation itself, its the polish :slight_smile:

Zbrush records using timelapse.
I guess It will be a 10 to 30 min video maximum. Check menu: MOVIE > Modifiers. U can run 1 FPS. Just test. :slight_smile:
