That last one is awesome, it is now my desktop wallpaper.

I think you may be the king of 2.5 D Zbrush, your own niche!

    5 stars.

Hi Eric, I am really flattered, thanks so much. King of 2.5 D ..... that has a nice ring to it! I am not an accomplished sculptor so I find the 2.5 D path one I can embrace at the moment, and have fun!

I was looking at some of your awesome concept sketches ... it would be great to see some of them in 3D!

    All the best,
    David

    This last one is great!
Some PP could help a lot. Like burning (gradient) some areas for instance. 2.5 d best render tents to look a bit flat. You're a great photographer as well, you possibly know what I mean.

    Hi Michalis,

Thanks so much, glad you like the last piece! There is an enormous amount of post production in most of my work. I kind of like that they are more like illustration perhaps line work more than traditional 3D at this juncture of my work. See what you think of this new piece.

    Cheers my friend,
    David

    ? LOL
this material doesn't suppose to work well under best renderer.
In fact I may edit it. It uses a matcap node, it shouldn't. Matcaps don't work well with BPR and even with lightcaps. They don't cast shadows well.

What a heroic looking dog! Did you notice the SSS on Bianca's ear?

    Hi Glenn,

Santa in the off season ... not!

I saw the original Rembrandt at the Hermitage! Very fine copy.

    Thanks for the Holiday wishes!

    All the best,
    David
