    Default Modo 601

Don't know if this would be the best area for this discussion... but just viewed the videos on Modo 601 and seeing as I already use Mod with ZBrush I think I am soon to be able to fix my Retopo issues with speed.... http://www.luxology.com/modo/601/tour/index.aspx view all these video and turn green... with the power of ZBrush and Modo combined and with the passion these two developers are tackeling their task I don't think I'll be going anywhere else soon... Liked the Blender plugin for retopo and modeling... but thats another learning curb...

I vote ZBrush combined with Modo...

    Hi Deke,

Thanks for the kind words! I have threatened several times to do some kind of tutorial about my un-orthodox approach to creating with Zbrush. I am off to Tanzania in ten days and will be away for a few weeks. I will make it a priority to try and come up with a tutorial late in April! Cheers, David

    Hi Glenn,

Thanks so much, I am happy that you are enjoying this new work! I have been so busy and have really not had a lot of time to explore this awesome update. I am just ten days from the start of my odyssey in Africa! I will try and post a bit while I am gone! Cheers, David

The works look quite the same to me.
I think you should try to use some more techniques or at least finding sth which makes them unique.
As Zbrush simplifies a lot now. you would need tons of hours with other programs, producing somethin simmilar to what you do.

But this can go in teh wrong direction taht you do some kind of mass production. This rubs the uniqueness completely. I can't see any expression inside the pictures.
It's nice to look at. This is true. I would put some of them on my wall for sure, but it's more like decoration, Im sure you could do more.

Try another Renderengine, better materials, less basic forms.
