Default And now for something completely different...

Never tried anything like this but I like where it's going and have a pretty good idea what I want to do with it in PS when the model is done.

Started from scratch with new render and tried to follow the KISS (keep it simple stupid) method. I like this one pretty well. Let me know what you guys think.

I decided to revisit the mech one last time. I toned down the smoke effect when I realized it was way too much.

    Whatup Voodoodad,
Haven't posted this week, so I felt I needed to drop you some love.

    The architectural piece is great!
I've been trying to do that for a while now, and just haven't been getting any good results.
Would you be willing to share some of your workflow, if you've got the time?
I appreciate it, and keep up the great work man... I'm jealous.

Thanks, Corey. I've been missing you and Dragon.

The building was yanked and pulled out of a single cube dynameshed at a resolution of 648. I use masking then >deform>inflate on a negative or positive number for the smaller details and the transpose tools for bigger changes, like pulling out the towers and creating the deep set arch I did that piece to see if some archy alphas I made worked and they ended up looking fairly good. The main problem with a piece like that is keeping the poly count low. You need a lot of geometry to get those alphas to look halfway decent. I'm thinking of making several buildings as seperate projects and then comping them together in PS for something or other. I'm also going to study up on projection master for my next try.

My daily doodles led me to this. Not even sure what it is.
