Awesome work man. You need to get back in the dog house, so some of that awesomeness rubs off on me. keep up the good work.

    Wow! thanks for comments everyone.......

m0delista - thanks. as far as sending to modo, I just decimated the mesh and imported it into modo. Used some procedural textures, and rendered with 1 area light and an HDR image.
MightyReg - thanks. I really wanted to capture a sense of arrogance, disdain, pompousness pretentiousness, and a bit of sinisterness. If that is a word. I think I at least got in the ballpark.
monstermaker - Dang! I'm stoked you dig this guy. That makes my day! Yeah, I posted over at Luxology as well. I'm in the process of getting an updated, (hopefully) rockin portfolio together to get a Character/Creature artist job, so I'm pimpin my shiz a little
    GX@W - thanks I think
plunq - Glad you like my work man. I really learned a lot working with you and I was lucky to have done so. modo is now my 3D app of choice, and I got Faraut casts throughout my apartment. Thanks for the help and putting up with me
RyanWatkins - thanks yo! I can hear the Dawg House calling me!
    kokoro - thank you
KC-Production - thanks yo. Look forward to seeing some Orc battle gear from you. I'll be watching!

Thanks Bryan! Tryin to get a solid body of character work together - your comments and assistance are always appreciated.

And speaking of Mr. Wynia - I participated in his 3 week Creature Sculpting class a while back, and it was so cool i signed up for his 8 week class. Here's a teaser of the next character I'm working on in his class now - A Yeti. 5 somewhat basic, unrefined quick sculpts on the left, and a bunch of Photoshop paintover design explorations.....

And my favorites. Gonna go with "A" for my final design. Maybe not the coolest or most exciting design, but I'm really feeling that guy and I wanna try and bring him to life.

    Default Yeti Final

Thanks for the feedback and comments folks. Much appreciated.

Here's the final Yeti image and ZBrush model (as per Wynia's class). The image was rendered in ZBrush, grabbing a variety of passes that I then took into Photoshop to comp and paint over for the final illustration. Feedback appreciated on the illustration in particular, as that's something I haven't done a lot of but am working on getting better at.

Really nice job fattkid! Great compositing but the only mild crit I have is that the fur looks just a little too wirey. But overall a fantastic job!
