Default Female Zombie - Halloween Challenge 2011

In the beginning I wasn't with too much ideas for the challenge, so for the time being I'm randomly modeling in Zbrush whatever comes into my mind, for the last two hours I've played with a dynamesh sphere until I got this body and then sculpted using some zspheres/zsketch and dynamesh the organs... I'm really in love with dynamesh, is just too damn awesome!

Anyhow, this thread will be exclusively to post the advances of creatures and stuff I'll be modeling until I made my mind for it... I just hope that doesn't happen too late.

Ok! So I decided to go for a full detailed zombie, in the past days I worked in the skeleton and vital organs, this is the result:

I'm detailing and adding stuff for the "skin" and working on the pose yet, hope you like it.
And can you tell me, doctor, why I stil can't get to sleep?
And night-time's just a jungle dark and a barking M16?
And what's this rash that comes and goes, can you tell me what it means?
God help me, I was only ninteen.

The intestines look really good, and I mean it in a non zombie way.

I´m interested in how you modeled those. Spline extrusion?

I did these a while ago with zspheres and zsketch, now I optimized with the curvetube tool, which is uberawesome

The skeleton is perhaps the easiest one, I began with the polymeshes tools that come along with Zbrush, mostly boxes/cubes and some sphereinder that I converted into dynameshes and sculpted until I got the shapes, that's the way I created holes in my models too.

I got a good set of ref images from Grey's Anatomy (the book, not the tv show lol)

For the sharpness I used the claypolish tool which is very useful.

Now I'm onto creating hair using a basic haircap with the curvesurface tool for hairstrands... zombies can't be bald.

Sorry for the delay, here you go:

    1. Basic hair mesh done with snapcurvetube tool, detailing on the move.
    2. Beginning of Polypainting.

Looking good, just waiting for the polypainted version now ^_^

I was just thinking, wouldnt all the intestines fall out? Maybe add some muscles/fat/skin, like a huge wound but still holding the intestines? Anyway, it still looks great, and there isnt much time left.
