Frankie

I started with DynaWax128, then inserted the hands, ears and a cilinder for the head.
The new R2 tools are too fun and effective!
For now, I'll continue detailing him and let's see where I take this guy... maybe I'll lay him in the lab's table or something like that.

This is the set up.
Basically, I inserted a lot of cylinders, cubes and with the curve brushes created the tubes.
Now is time to detail the objects and add the objects that are left, like the straps.
Cheers,
Omar.

The scene was missing some life, so IŽll add Dr. Frankenstein to the scene and probably will change the composition.

The good Doctor is brilliant; love the design! I don't think the ladies will be interested in Frankie, though. Will he get a rag, artfully draped across his amorous drawback?
Cheers,
Rory

... good observation Rory. I was thinking in a hospital robe, or with a different camera view it wont be necessary.
Cheers,
Omar.

I've been exploring the composition, adding some sculpting details, polypainting, and playing with Lightcaps and BPR Filters.
Still a lot to do and time is running out!

Aw wow, that's gross.......I love it!

Hey StormRising... looking good.
You should open your own thread to show your process.

Well done finishing! You've built an impressive number of mechanical parts. Can't have been easy.
You could improve the render hugely and at no cost to yourself by just turning perspective rendering on in Draw/Perspective Distortion.
Good luck!

Thanks Rory!
I have Perspective Distortion turned on with an angle of view of 50... maybe I should push even more the angle or tweak the camera.
-
Mm! I'd say so. With the present configuration you're getting a detached, distant feel to the scene. Boosting the perspective distortion will make you feel included in the room, not a far observer.
-

Thanks again Rory! I set it to the max. perspective distorsion and moved the camera a hair.
